Our new gallery in Monaco is now open

Founded in 1976, De Jonckheere Gallery is the art world’s point of reference for 16th and 17th centuries Flemish painting. Since 2012, the gallery has also guided its collectors in the works of the great masters of Modern art. In this vein, the gallery opens the doors of its new space in Monaco on Thursday 22 June 2017 on Avenue Princesse Grace.

INAUGURAL EXHIBITION | THE MEETING OF MASTERS / UNTIL SEPTEMBER 10

The inaugural exhibition entitled ‘The Meeting of Masters’ brings together major works by old and Modern masters. The composition of followers and disciples of the painter Hieronymus Bosch, among which include the Brueghel dynasty, Lucas Cranach the Younger, Abel Grimmer, Jan Van Kessel, Herri Met de Bles, Frans Snyders, Peeter Snyers, Isaak Soreau, Adriaen Van Stalbempt, David Teniers, Louis de Caullery, Francesco Guardi and Corneille de Lyon, are in dialogue with the masterpieces of Modern artists such as René Magritte, Alexander Calder, Lucio Fontana, Jean Dubuffet, Nicolas De Staël and Enrico Castellani.
