Join us at @FABParisFair to admire from this stunning triptych by the entourage of Quentin Massys.

There are very few examples of private devotional paintings that have survived in such good condition.

This Triptych of the Passion of Christ bears witness to the great Renaissance style North of the Alps, which flourished in Flanders during the 15th century in the form of small-format works.

Intended for the privacy of the home, these rarely combined in a triptych paintings aimed to bring the stories featured in the Scriptures closer to the devout.

Discover here one of the masterpiece we are presenting at @FABParisFair. This Interior of Antwerp Cathedral, by Sebastiaen Vrancx, is one of the most important and genuine representations of the edifice.

A Baroque portrait of Notre-Dame, this view plunges the viewer into the interior of the cathedral circa 1621.

Because Vrancx faithfully reproduces everything he saw in the building, this masterpiece, beyond its imposing format, its vivid colors and its exceptional state of preservation, is an extremely rare document.

In a world where we are overstimulated by pictures, photographs, paintings and now AI-generated images, the exploration of abstraction and hyper-realism by contemporary artists has already come full circle. As for the Flemish masters, their images were presented to a public whose daily lives were conditioned by the cycle of the seasons and religion. They developed a language of description and perfection, miraculously providing us with a key to these paintings today, which allows us to understand the period. Indeed, in their landscapes, genre scenes, still lifes and portraits, the Flemish perspective is one of precision, closeness to nature and an invitation to imagine.
